Rare Disease & Pediatrics
Everyone talks about making a positive impact. We do it. PPD has conducted more clinical trials for rare disease and pediatric disorders than any other CRO. These studies require us to find, access and engage patient populations that are widely dispersed, often suffer a high disease burden, and face significant medical challenges. So yes, our trials are logistically complicated and often take place at research naïve sites. But 50% of those affected by rare diseases are children—and there’s nothing we won’t do to make it work. How about you?
