Skills you can attain here
In General Medicine, you can gain greater exposure to the widest variety of studies and patient populations in chronic, acute-care and rare disease studies within our organization. Working within a hospital setting, which is where most of our studies take place, as well as general-practice and direct patient contact situations, you can learn about innovative treatments and devices being investigated in any number of indications, including gene studies and cell therapy. You can gain exposure to different approaches to patient identification, such as advocacy groups, patient forums, digital and social media, and have the chance to become a subject-matter expert in a specific indication.
