Phase I-Early Development
Would you like to ensure that important drug trials are accurate from day one? Join us in Early Development, a specialized team within PPD that focuses specifically on Phase I and Phase IIa trials with sponsors. While we work primarily with healthy volunteers, we also handle studies involving patient populations (with the exception of oncology). The EDS team collaborates with the PPD Phase I Clinics in Austin and Las Vegas, as well as a dedicated network of clinical sites around the world to conduct studies. They’re making a difference right from the start, and you can do the same.
best-fit characteristics
If you’re an experienced CRA II looking to broaden your experience by working on Phase I and Phase IIa trials, you’ll be right at home with Early Development. We appreciate the value of professionals who want to broaden their portfolio of experience by working in a different model—and making a different kind of impact.
Your attributes and experience
We’ll expect you to be an experienced CRA II with a proven eye for detail and experience with the highest levels of compliance. Because our studies take place over a shorter, more Intensive period of two to three months, and our overall assignments last about six months, you’ll need the ability to build close relationships with a smaller number of stakeholders. Those who succeed within Early Development can perform tasks of a high-frequency, repetitive nature within a more intense model, the mini hospital.
Skills you can attain here
Your time with Early Development can bring some skills you’ll value through the very latest stages of your career. We offer opportunities to develop capabilities in stakeholder management, planning and organization, communication, and problem-solving.
